The Mental Health Technician program is a 50-lesson, fully online training program designed to prepare students for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) Mental Health Technician Certification (MHTC) exam. Each lesson includes an AI-led video lecture, a reading assignment, a real-world scenario activity, and a graded quiz — all self-paced so students can move through the material as quickly as they're ready. The curriculum covers the core competencies required for the MHTC exam, including behavioral health fundamentals, therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, patient observation and documentation, safety protocols, and professional ethics. Students who complete the program receive a Certificate of Completion from an accredited .edu institution, a professionally written resume tailored to behavioral health positions, and curated job leads in their area — everything needed to transition from training into a career in mental and behavioral healthcare.
